What Happens at a TTouch Training?
In the Introductory session to this dynamic TTouch training and learning system, you will explore and acquire some of the TTouch techniques you can use to help dogs, cats and other animal companions. Using these techniques will enable you to enhance your relationship with all animals. If you are interested in becoming a TTouch Practitioner, you can enroll in the certification program that consists of six sessions, including the Introductory session, each lasting six or seven days. Throughout the curriculum, you will be guided through the various exercises, experiences and techniques that will integrate the TTouch system and earn you the status of a professional TTouch Practitioner.
Linda Tellington-Jones, Robyn Hood, Debra Potts, Edie Jane Eaton and Kathy Cascade head the teaching staff of certified TTouch Practitioners who will conduct these trainings and classroom activities.
The cost of this five-day session during which you meet and work with the Instructor, assistants, the other participants and a variety of dogs, etc. from 9:00 to 5:00 each day is $600. After this session you may decide to become a Tellington TTouch Practitioner. For the details of how to do this, please click here.

Special Conference: Experiential Learning in Humane Education: Involve Me and I Will Understand
April 24-25, 2009 Brewster, NY. Linda Tellington-Jones will present at this special conference hosted by The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) & Green Chimneys.
For well over a century humane societies, animal shelters and other organizations that protect animals have proposed humane education as an outreach tool to creating a kinder world. Yet all too often these outreach efforts are short-lived and the lessons taught are quickly forgotten. What is missing? Attend this exciting professional renewal opportunity for educators, animal welfare professionals and anyone who is seeking to instill kindness and appreciation for animals in their audiences.
Sessions will highlight ways to bring people closer to living animals in a concrete way. In the innovative learning setting provided by Green Chimneys, a nationally known leader in nature based experiential education; participants will gain strategies, practical advice and inspiration. Two days of presentations, interactive group discussions and above all experiential learning will make this an opportunity not to miss!
